Nothing Wasted is a new thrift and reuse business taking shape in Pictou County.
Most everyday secondhand finds will be sold by weight, with individually priced Special Finds, creative reuse materials, workshops and plenty of unexpected treasures along the way.

What’s happening right now at Nothing Wasted?
Nothing Wasted is already bringing people together through creative reuse workshops in Pictou County. We’re making things with materials that might otherwise be overlooked—and showing just how much possibility they still hold.
The next step is a permanent home for our pay-by-the-pound thrift and reuse shop, with individually priced Special Finds and space for more creative activities. We’re working through the location, setup, and financing needed to make that happen. We aren’t planning pop-up shops at this time.
I’m currently seeking funding and connections to help bring the shop to life. If you know of a suitable lender, grant or funding program, community partner, or potential investor who shares Nothing Wasted’s vision, I’d love to hear from you at bobbi@nothingwastedthrift.com.
For now, donations are paused because our storage space is full. Thank you to everyone who has offered items and supported this idea as it grows. I’ll share an update when we’re able to accept donations again.

Hi, I’m Bobbi Savoy Wright, Founder & Creative Director of NOTHING WASTED Thrift & Reuse Centre.
Nothing Wasted grew from my love of secondhand treasure, creative reuse and finding possibilities in things others might overlook. My experience in thrift retail, customer service, leading groups and organizing systems has shaped a business designed to make secondhand shopping more affordable, playful and welcoming.

Nothing Wasted is also about exploring what overlooked materials can become. Our workshops offer welcoming, low-pressure opportunities to experiment, play and create—using secondhand, salvaged and everyday materials.
The current workshop line up includes:
Junk Journaling — Turn rescued papers, book pages, images and little treasures into a journal that is entirely your own.
Tiny Rooms, Big Ideas — Build a miniature room or scene from cardboard, fabric scraps and other found materials.
Creature Creations — Kids dream up and make their own creatures using reused paper and other playful materials.
You won’t need artistic experience or an elaborate plan. Come with curiosity, use what speaks to you and discover your own possibilities.
